What is Virtual Valley?
Virtual Valley is a Virtual Team Building Platform that connects Virtual Entrepreneurs and Rockstar Virtual Team Members. We also provide a payment escrow service and software to bring clarity and security to the outsourcing process.
Entrepreneurs browse and hire Team Members through the Virtual Valley platform.
How do I know the person I’m hiring will be any good?

What commitment am I making (if any) if I ‘hire’ someone through your platform?
When you hire a Virtual Team Member through Virtual Valley you are making no minimum commitment.
You are free to work as much or as little with that Team Member, as agreed by yourself and your Team Member. Your Team Member will simply track all time worked with our Time Tracking software, which will update instantly in your Entrepreneur Dashboard.
How much does Virtual Valley charge?
Virtual Valley charges a 20% uplift on the hourly rate of each Team Member employed through the platform, this amount is already included in the hourly rates that can are displayed on the Team Member profiles.
I currently use Odesk/Guru/Freelancer/PeoplePerHour, why should I use Virtual Valley?
Those platforms are awesome, but they are not curated.

How do you recruit Team Members?
We have years of experience recruiting and working with Virtual Team Members and have applied this wisdom to a comprehensive and unique 5 Step Recruitment Process that each Team Member has passed through before being invited onto Virtual Valley.
How do I pay for my Team Members?
When you hire a Team Member you will validate either your credit/debit card or PayPal account, though no payment is made. Once the hiring request has been sent to and accepted by the Team Member you will be able to access their contact details and will be able to commence your working relationship.
All of the work completed by the Team Member will be tracked by our proprietary time tracking software, with the data being sent to your admin profile within Virtual Valley. Then, 2 days before the end of the month you will receive an email stating how much you will be charged, if agreed, the total amount for the hours worked will be charged automatically through your credit/debit card or PayPal account on the last day of the month.
How do I know that my Team Member is actually working?
All Virtual Valley Team Members have our proprietary time tracking software installed on their computers that updates your admin panel within Virtual Valley with the following data for every minute that a Team Member works:
- Total Time
- Total Active Time
- 6 Screenshots Per Hour (taken at random intervals)
Each Entrepreneur is invoiced at the end of the month for the hours which their Team Member/s have worked and been tracked by the time tracking software. We also suggest that you request your Team Member to send a daily update to you and to have regular meetings to assess their performance.
Why should I hire a Team Member without speaking to them?
Due to our stringent recruitment process outlined above we are so confident that you will love your Team Member that if your productivity has not doubled in the first 30 days we will refund the wages of the Team Member and provide a replacement Team Member free of charge.
Why can I only hire General Virtual Assistants?
We want to get REALLY good at one thing before moving onto the next. Therefore, before we begin to provide other roles (graphic design, webmaster, telesales) we must master the art of providing AWESOME General Virtual Assistant (GVA) Team Members before moving on.

I am looking to take on a Team Member just for project based work, can you help?
In short no, we like our Team Members to experience the security of long term relationships with their Entrepreneurs. There are a number of fantastic project based freelancer marketplaces: Upwork, PeoplePerHour and Guru.
What hours do Team Members work?
The majority of our Team Members are happy to work their allotted hours in the required time zone, please discuss with your individual Team Member to confirm.
Where is my Team Member based?
All of our Team Members are based in the Philippines and work from their home office. We did flirt with the idea of opening a physical office but decided against this for a number of reasons: reduced costs and less travel time for Team Members.
What happens if my Team Member is unable to work?
Any hours that are not worked by your Team Member due to weather conditions/connectivity issues will be not be charged at the end of the month as they will not be rocrded in the time tracking software.
Can I hire more than one Team Member?
Yes, follow the same process that you took to hire your first Team Member (except you will not need to validate your credit/debit card or PayPal account), you will then be able to view all the activities undertaken and time spent by your Team Members in your Dashboard.
What if I don't work well with my Team Member?
Contact us here or by the popup in the bottom right corner of this screen and we will work together to find a Team Member you can develop a healthy working relationship with.
Am I entitled to a refund if the work is not completed in a satisfactory manner?
Yes, if you are not satisfied with the work of your Team Member this is our problem and you will not be charged, furthermore, if you do not work well with your Team Member we will work with you to find a Team Member that you do work well with.
What are your best practices for working with Virtual Team Members?

Can I take a Team Member and work off the platform?
You can do anything you want. However this is against the Virtual Valley Terms Of Service and we are only able to recruit, build software and help you in your journey to virtual business success through the Virtual Valley uplift on Team Member Hourly Rates, we trust that you won't ;)
